Merry Christmas!

Again, I'll have to make this brief (I am a mom, who wants to spend the day celebrating with her family).

I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. I hope you are all spending time with your loved ones, as well.

Sorry that I haven't had an opportunity to post the recipes for the Christmas cookies. I'll try to get them on here by the end of the week (in time for your New Year's celebrations).

My taste-tester, Rawbin, enjoyed all four recipes (I gave her a sampling yesterday), and by the looks of this picture, Santa did, too.

He ate both the raw and baked ones. Which did he prefer? The world may never know (sounds like that "how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop" commercial). But, my money is on the raw ones :-)

Merry Christmas to you and your family too!! I can't wait to make those cookies!! From the look of his belly Santa prefers the cooked ones, but he certainly needs more of the raw ones ;) They all look good! Thanks for such a wonderful blog!

It's nice to know people appreciate my posts. I used to wonder if anyone was reading this blog, but the regular comments I have now definitely keep me motivated.

I'm sorry I have not been able to post the cookie recipes yet, but I promise to have them up tomorrow (that is unless my computer crashes or something ridiculous like that).

Santa's belly may give the impression that he prefers the cooked, but he is still new to this raw thing. He was nice enough to consider my raw lifestyle when he filled my stocking, including fresh oranges, coconut covered date rolls with almonds, olive oil, spices, organic fair-trade tea, raw trail mix and an "ugly" fruit (we have rather large stockings).

Thanks for the compliments.
