In my mind, this weekend is the start to summer, although the calendar says it's not for another few weeks. We've been enjoying the beautiful weather with various outdoor activities, such as Hayden's end-of-the-year preschool beach picnic/graduation, Jacob's field day, swimming and a day at the berry patch.Growing up, I was lucky to have a strawberry patch in my own backyard, but since that is no longer the case, it was such a treat to go berry picking today. Hayden was quite the natural at finding the best of the bunch. I wonder what we'll do with all those berries. Any ideas?
